Why We Ride: The REAL Answer

“Why do you ride?” It’s the question every motorcyclist gets asked. And for years, I tried to explain it with logic: the fuel economy, the parking, the “practicality.” But that’s not why we ride. This video is my answer to that question. Not the logical one. The real one. This video isn’t a how-to or a gear review. It’s a reflection on why motorcycles matter. Why we keep coming back. Why we can’t explain it to people who don’t ride—because you can’t explain a feeling. You can only feel it. If you ride, you’ll feel this. If you don’t rideContinue readingWhy We Ride: The REAL Answer

First ride with the Friendship Riders

I have been on the Friendship Riders Motorcycle Group (FRMG) on Facebook for almost a year, but I had never gone on a ride with them before. Various excuses of me being busy, but I finally went on a ride. We started out in Burleson and took some back roads south through Joshua, Cleburne, Grandview, Itasca, Maypearl, then across Waxahachie into Ferris and Palmer. We looped back around to Waxahachie where we stopped at “Pop’s Burger Stand”; I can see why this place is a destination. I turned the camera on for a bit between Itasca and Waxahachie, so here’sContinue readingFirst ride with the Friendship Riders
